Our clinical staff consists of Registered Nures, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists who will assist you in creating a personal care plan centered around your improvement.
Braeden Carter, General Manager
Braeden knew from an early age he wanted to work in the healthcare industry after aiding in the care of his elderly grandparents. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Brigham Young University and recently earned his master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Utah. He has worked in the healthcare industry since 2015. He became a licensed nursing home administrator in 2017 and operated a facility in California. In 2019, Braeden and his family moved back to Utah to further his education and accepted the position of General Manager with Auburn Crest.
Braeden and his wife, Sierra, both grew up in California and love to take their 3 kids to the beach as much as possible. When he is not working, he is either spending time with his family or playing and watching sports.
Karen Poschman
Karen joined the team in Salt Lake City in September 2021. She has had over 20 years of experience in the nursing field in a variety of areas. She has enjoyed working in a small rural hospital in Washington state where she was able to work in the ER, clinic area, and also the 12-bed hospital. She has also spent time working in the VA system and as a dialysis nurse. All of these have helped her in her home and hospice career which has been her favorite area of nursing to date. Karen is grateful for all her opportunities and looks forward to serving alongside the home and hospice professionals at Auburn crest and helping them do all they can to care for the others who may need help.
Aside from her work Karen loves to travel, garden, cook, and spend time with friends and family. She looks forward to her granddaughter who is expected in January 2022.
